The word “Amnesia” originates from the Greek etymology, which means “to forget”, making it the nightclub for escaping your routine and entering into a gorgeous atmosphere of fun, pleasure, and excitement. It is one of the hottest clubs in Ibiza and has been around since 1976.
Opened for the very first time in 1976, Amnesia quickly shot to fame and attracted tourists and locals alike, becoming one of the best entertainment venues in Ibiza. The nightclub is famously known for its out-of-this-world clubbing experience and has won the Best Global Club award in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2011 at the IDMA Awards in Miami.
Today, Amnesia continues to sit at the top of the clubbing world with its spectacular house, tech-house, techno, live shows and Latin music experience it provides to its clubbers. Visiting Amnesia Ibiza is a great experience for people who are into electronic music. This nightclub has enough space for 5000 people and has been split into two rooms.
It is a world-renowned destination known worldwide for its non-stop parties and unrivaled atmosphere of pure freedom.
MAIN ROOM
This room is the smallest of two and has a darker atmosphere and dim lighting, which makes it ideal for dark and harder techno nights. Its state-of-the-art DJ booth allows some of the most talented DJs in the world to perform their magic in front of a massive audience.
Want to know the best part? The main room also hosts some of the most outrageous foam parties and is well-known for its erupting ice cannons that rock the dancefloor all night long.
TERRACE
Amnesia was one of the first few open-air clubs in Ibiza, and this room has been named after the club’s previous open-air terrace which is now covered with a roof. After a whole night of booze, fun, and dancing, be prepared to witness that mind-blowingly magical feeling when sun rays fill up the room in the morning and light up the entire crowd.
Also some good news for all the bass lovers, recently The Terrace has been upgraded to the amazing KV2 Audio sound system. This state-of-the-art high definition system is known to be one of the most advanced sound systems in world. No words can truly describe the experience, you have to be there!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Amnesia is located near San Rafael, half way between San Antonio and Ibiza Town.
Taxi from San Antonio or Ibiza Town to Amnesia costs around €15-€20 and takes around 15 minutes, slightly longer from Playa d’en Bossa.
Discobus - L3 and L3B service
L3 from San Antonio - service starts at 23:45, the next one is at 00:00 and then every half an hour until 06:00
L3 from Ibiza Harbour - service starts at 23:45, the next one is at 00:00 and then every half an hour until 06:30
L3B from San Antonio - service starts at 16:00
L3B from Playa D'en Bossa - service starts at 16:45
Also the L3 service goes via Pacha and Privilege and L3B goes via Ushuaia, Hi, DC10 and Privilege
Single journey costs €4
Please note the disco bus operates from 1 June until 30 September
Tickets are €30 – €60 depending on the party (sometimes discount is available if you arrive early, normally before 1am).
Spirit and mixer (eg vodka coke) – €18.
Beer – €14.
Bottle of water €8.
Amnesia is open everyday from 23:00 (some parties open slightly earlier or later) and go until 06:00.
Please note Amnesia operates during season time which is from end of April to mid October).
Dress code at Amnesia is casual however you will be denied entry if you're wearing swimwear, flip-flops and football shirts.
Capacity of Amnesia is 5,000.
