INTRODUCTION
Above & Beyond is an English electronic group that comprises Tony McGuiness, Jono Grant, and Paavo Siljamaki. This group of progressive house and trance fanatics know how to party and sweep the audience off of their feet. Above & Beyond was founded in 2000 and since then, the trio has done some exceptional work that has earned them a rightful position at the top in the DJ industry.
This marvelous band has worked with different record labels but most of their tracks are released under their own music labels, Anjunabeats, which they launched in 2000, and Anjunadeep (launched in 2005). They produce a wide range of musical genres ranging from trance, big room house, and progressive house to progressive trance and vocal trance.
INVOLVEMENT IN IBIZA
Above & Beyond can be seen performing at Cream, an alluring party set up for all the trance music enthusiasts of the world. This event started a compelling Sunday party tradition that no partier wants to miss. On this day, Ibiza livens up with the music of Above & Beyond along with many other acclaimed names. Cream has a strong lineup that regularly features the band amongst artists like Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Fatboy Slim, and other incredible names.

In 2006 and 2008, Above & Beyond received the Best Underground Dance Track Award for Air for Life and in 2019, they won the Best Pop/Electronic Album Award. They also received the prestigious nomination for Best Collaboration of the Year Award by NRJ DJ Award in 2016. In 2012, the band achieved the 19th ranking for the Greatest Dance Act of All Time published by Mixmag. Additionally, this stunning trio has consistently grabbed a notable ranking in the DJ Magazine’s Top 100 DJs Poll.
Apart from all these accolades, Above & Beyond has received many noteworthy nominations over the years. The trio was nominated for the Grammy Awards’ category, Best dance Recording, both in 2016 and 2018. They have also received nominations for Best Producer, Best Remixer, Ortofon Best European DJ Award, Best Dance Artist, Best Global Record Label, Best Trance Track, and several more.
Many of their hits have garnered them a lot of attention and fame. Tracks like We Are All We Need, Northern Soul, No One On Earth, and many others have been played on repeat at festivals and have been praised by fans globally.
