INTRODUCTION
Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike are a Belgian EDM duo consisting of two brothers, Dimitri and Michael Thivaios. The duo has an official residency at one of the largest electronic music festivals, Tomorrowland, since 2010 and also run the famous record label Smash the House, founded in 2010. Their collaborators include Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, Afrojack, Martin Garrix,
INVOLVEMENT IN IBIZA
The Belgian duo transforms Playa d’en Bossa into an EDM powerhouse full of lasers, light shows and music explosions. They can also be seen displaying the grandeur of their skills at the renowned trance nights Cream in Ibiza. Additionally, they have been Ibiza’s regulars and have held summer DJ residencies at Amnesia (2014-2016) and more recently at Ushuaïa Ibiza (2017 to present).
Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike were also seen making dance music history at the open-air super-club, Ushuaïa, at the iconic party Tomorrowland in the year 2019, on the event’s 15th anniversary. They performed together with a grand roster of famous artists like Afrojack, Nicky Romero, Lost Frequencies, Jonas Blue, Oliver Heldens and many more.
HITS & AWARDS
They were the first ever duo to win the World #1 DJ’s crown at the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs Poll. Also, the boys were ranked No. 1 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list in 2015 and 2019. The duo was also nominated in the 2014 Best Electro House DJ and won the best European DJ and Best Group International Dance music awards in 2016.
The duo has released hit singles as the anthems of the famous music festival Tomorrowland: The Way We See the World (with Afrojack & Nervo) and other hits include Tremor and Mammoth.
