INTRODUCTION
Marco Carola, the global ambassador of techno, is an Italian DJ and producer who specialises in several genres of electro music — techno, minimal techno and tech house. Marco’s journey began in Napoli, in the south of Italy, and his talent has taken him to the biggest platforms and musical festivals.
He pushed the progress and development of the electronic and techno music landscape in the 90s. Today, Carola is still one of the most respected artists in the industry who is recognised as the man whose passion was the driving force that earned electronic music the recognition it holds.
Marco Carola is a successful producer and label head who has created several esteemed and prominent labels like Design, One Thousand, Do.Mi.No., Zenit, Music On, and Question.
Apart from these, he has worked with many other notable labels like 2M, Minus, Primate Recordings, Plus 8, etc. He has an eye for capturing raw and unexplored talent, and he motivates budding artists by showing newcomers the right path for them.
INVOLVEMENT IN IBIZA
Not only has Marco Carola earned residencies in the hottest clubs of Ibiza, but he is also the founder of one of the most highly admired Ibiza parties — Music On.
Music On is a party that is visited by electro music enthusiasts, and it has been celebrated in Ibiza for over 7 years now. The venue for this worldwide famous brand shifted from Amnesia to the exclusive superclub, Pacha, in 2019. In 2023, Music On will take place every Friday from 12th May – 13th October.
Marco Carola has worked tirelessly behind the decks, keeping his audience hooked with the beats he creates. This year, alongside him has been the stunning lineup consisting of Paco Osuna, The Martinez Brothers, Seth Troxler, Loco Dice, Apollonia, Marco Faraone, Andrea Oliva, Luciano, Joris Voorn and many more!
