Richie Hawtin
INTRODUCTION
Richie Hawtin is a British-Canadian electronic music producer and DJ whose praise comes from the techno vanguard to the fine art community. He produces and mixes the genres of minimal techno and techno. Richie Hawtin was a popular figure in the second wave of Detroit’s techno of the early 90’s and is known to be a leading exponent of the genre of minimal techno ever since its conception in the mid 90’s. Joining other big names like Daniel Bell, Robert Hood, Jeff Mills, Carl Craig, and others,
Richie became known for his skills under the aliases of F.U.S.E and Plastikman. In 1990, he founded the recording label Plus 8 and M-nus Records in 1998. Hawtin also co-founded Plus 8 Equities, which aims to advance music technology and collaborate with start-ups engaged in developing new technologies able to advance the music industry. In 2016, he launched his own MODEL 1 mixer under his tech company PLAYdifferently. Acid King, Spastik, Psyk and Core resonance are some of his major hits.

Get ready for an electrifying summer in 2023 as the legendary Richie Hawtin graces the stages of Ibiza’s Pyramid at Amnesia. Mark your calendars for the dates of August 6th and 20th, as well as September 17th, when Richie Hawtin will take command of the decks at this iconic venue.
Known for his innovative approach to techno music and his unparalleled skill behind the turntables, Richie Hawtin’s performances are more than just music; they’re a transformative experience. As the sun sets and the beats begin to pulse, Pyramid at Amnesia will come alive with the mesmerizing sounds of Richie Hawtin’s unique style.
In Summer 2012, Richie launched the event ENTER at the superclub Space (now Hï Ibiza). ENTER comprised a five-room adventure boasting all-night dancing and a sake bar serving special sake made just for the night, together with a majestic Mind Room of abstract electronica. Hawtin brought the best to ENTER’s dancefloor. Seth Troxler, Sven Väth, Paco Osuna, Maceo Plex, Dixon, Dubfire, Tale Of Us, tINI, and Maya Jane all brought the same level of energy and quality. Please note ENTER parties haven’t been present in Ibiza for a number of years.
