INTRODUCTION
The loop techno nights of Berlin roar with the energy-packed sounds of Rødhåd’s unique music. He always manages to achieve the perfect balance of classic techno to raise the roof higher and higher.
This established name in techno, Mike Bierbach, known by his stage name Rødhåd, enjoys immense success after working tirelessly for ten years locally in Berlin. He has earned the right to play his sound for thousands on international stages and mesmerize the attendees.
His deep and powerful style connects at an emotional level with all of the audience. His music ranges from dub techno to techno and back to the house, featuring an eclectic range of styles. Rødhåd is the embodiment of the fusion of the two most exciting genres of electronic music.
Rødhåd has many lauded remixes and successful productions to his name, but DJing has been his one true passion. Before he abandoned his day as a draftsman in construction and went into DJing as a full-time career, Rødhåd was applauded for playing long sets in Berlin’s notorious party epicenters.
INVOLVEMENT IN IBIZA
The “Viking of Techno”, Rødhåd, played regularly on the famous techno night Afterlife, one of the most jaw-dropping parties hosted at Hï Ibiza. In 2019, the artist performed with other talented names, such as Eats Everything, Carl Cox, Charlotte de Witte, Sasha, Jamie Jones, and Paco Osuna.
HITS & AWARDS
Rødhåd has received praise as a DJ and as a producer; he has two albums, multiple EPs, and remixes of several talented artists under his belt. Most of his tracks were released by Dystopian, but in 2018, he launched a new label WSNWG, which is home to collaborative productions and sessions at East Berlin studio with his peers.
From “Target line”, “190205” and “210407.1” to “Signs” and “APOPHENIA”, Rødhåd’s music hits have always ruled the charts. These hits have dominated many party clubs and continue to be the favourite in festivals all over the world.
