INVOLVEMENT IN IBIZA
Cocoon, one of the oldest promoters and most magnificent underground party centers in Ibiza, was introduced by him. Sven’s music played a substantial role in completely transforming the underground techno party scene and adding the most significant rave element to it: a blend of electric, techno, and other styles of music.
Sven’s Monday parties held at Amnesia fostered the sound of Ibiza at the time when trance was dominating the island. Following this tradition, every year, Cocoon’s Ibiza team works hard to come up with a new theme and celebrate the love for techno and electro music introduced by the artist.
Sven Väth has played alongside many other amazing artists at Cocoon, including Nina Kraviz, Adam Beyer, Richie Hawtin, Ilario Alicante, and Ricardo Villalobos.
