Brothers
INTRODUCTION
The Martinez Brothers are a popular American duo of DJs and music producers from the Bronx, New York. The two young, passionate electro-music devotees and brothers, Steve Martinez and Chris Martinez, were raised on their father’s love for the Paradise Garage, and they later evolved into leaders in the global house and tech house scene. They usually work around a diverse mix of genres from house, tech house, techno all the way to hip-hop.
This masterly duo has worked with many reputable labels like Objektivity and Tuskegee.
In 2013 they created their own label Cuttin Headz which has been home to all their experimentations and musical trials. Much of their initial work and many of their best releases are associated with this record label.
INVOLVEMENT IN IBIZA
The Martinez Brothers are well known for their continued residencies with the top nightclubs in Ibiza. They host parties that celebrate raw electro music in its most unfiltered form, along with many other eminent names on the collaboration list. The American duo collaborated with DC10 for several years and then joined Hï Ibiza as resident DJs.
The remarkable duo is also a regular at Circoloco along with many other legendary artists like Amelie Lens, Gerd Janson, Kerri Chandler, Damian Lazarus, Matthias Tanzmann, and many others.
The Martinez Brothers also performed at the exhilarating underground night party in Ibiza — Paradise. Apart from the Martinez Brothers, other artists like Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Adam Beyer, Darius Syrossian, Nicole Moudaber, and Joseph Capriati were seen capturing the hearts of countless electro-music enthusiasts.
HITS & AWARDS
This insanely talented duo has achieved several accolades and has received a lot of love and admiration from fans around the world. In 2014, they received the No.1 ranking for the Top 20 DJs of 2014 category by the Mixmag Rankings.
Some of their tracks include, Let it Go, Don’t know Yet, The Causeway and many others. Many of their extended plays like Tree Town and Don’t Know Yet also earned them a lot of popularity and support.
